NewsTrendus is a news discovery and brief-reading service, not a newsroom producing original on-the-ground reports. We help visitors follow timely stories across United States news, technology, entertainment, science, gaming, business and sports by organizing publisher-provided RSS updates and U.S. Google Trends search topics.

How articles are sourced

Our automated feed collector requests public RSS metadata provided by established news publishers. Each source-based brief identifies the publisher and links to the publisher's full reporting. We do not present others’ work as original reporting. Most publishers’ feeds appear as short source-attributed previews only. A limited number of complete articles from NASA (agency-authored US-government releases) and KFF Health News (under its explicit republication terms) may be displayed in full. KFF pieces retain their author credit, original links and publisher attribution; any protected third-party photos are excluded. Read our KFF republishing terms and NASA media guidelines. The Conversation and general BBC/CNN/AP/Reuters feeds are not automatically republished in full.

What the publication time means

The time associated with a headline is usually the timestamp published in its source feed. An automated update time is the time our system refreshed the list, not necessarily the moment a publisher confirmed the event. Source feeds can update or remove items without notice.

What “trending” does and does not mean

Google Trends topics reflect growing or popular search interest. Search volume is not itself evidence that a headline is accurate. Rumors, speculation and entertainment stories can trend alongside verified developments. We encourage checking primary sources, dates, and multiple reliable news outlets for significant claims.

Images and graphics

NewsTrendus uses freely licensed representative category photographs from Pexels with photographer credits and links. They are not documentary photographs of the specific story, unless explicitly identified as such. Our original generic illustrations remain as a fallback. We do not automatically republish photographers' or news publishers' copyrighted event photos from RSS feeds. See our photo credits and licenses.

Corrections and feedback

Headlines and excerpts from external publishers may change. If a source link fails, an item seems incorrectly categorized, or an excerpt needs correction, you may submit a report through our public GitHub issues page (a GitHub account is required to open an issue). This is a technical feedback channel, not an emergency news desk. The original publisher should be contacted directly to correct its own article.

Advertising

Advertising, when enabled and eligible, supports site operations. Ads are independent of feed ranking; sources cannot pay to become a top headline. NewsTrendus does not request that readers click ads. Ad availability depends on Google’s site review, account settings and applicable policies.

Our limitations

Most briefs are derived from source-supplied metadata and are not independently fact-checked by NewsTrendus; licensed full-text articles remain credited works of their original publishers. Read the publisher's full report before relying on a developing story for decisions involving health, finance or safety.
