NewsTrendus is a US-focused news discovery and education site. We collect public RSS headline metadata, short source-provided excerpts, and United States trending search topics from Google Trends. We also publish original reading guides about understanding news and online claims.

Information you provide to us

You do not need to register an account, purchase anything or submit personal details to read our website. NewsTrendus currently has no visitor sign-in system, newsletter form or reader-submitted comment database. To send feedback, readers may use the GitHub issue tracker linked on our Contact page. GitHub issues are public, so do not share private personal information there.

Google AdSense, cookies and preferences

When eligible, NewsTrendus may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to serve, measure, limit frequency or personalize ads depending on law, user choices and settings. Learn more at Google advertising technologies and My Ad Center. Where legally required, a consent message can be delivered through an appropriate certified consent platform. AdSense approval and actual advertising availability are determined by Google.

Hosting and technical records

Our website is published via GitHub Pages. GitHub, network intermediaries and third-party service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, referral data and requested URLs for site delivery, performance and security. We do not operate an independent database of visitor registrations.

Representative photography

Some pages load commercially reusable photographs from Pexels image servers. Your browser may contact those servers to retrieve the image, which means Pexels may receive routine connection information. Each photo is labeled as representative rather than documentary footage of a particular news event. The photography creators and source links are listed on our Photo Credits page. Original vector category illustrations may appear if an image does not load.

News sources and other external websites

Links to publishers, Google Trends, Pexels, GitHub and official gaming publishers leave NewsTrendus and lead to independent services. We do not control their content, cookies or privacy practices. Please review their policies before submitting any information.

Children

NewsTrendus provides general-interest information and is not directed primarily at children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through our website.

We may update this privacy notice if site features, data processing or applicable requirements change. For site feedback or a correction request, see Contact & Corrections. The public GitHub tracker must not be used to send sensitive personal information.
